The Minneapolis Jewish Federation directs 100%* of Emergency Fund dollars to Israel.

We’re committed to ensuring that every dollar raised through Tikvatenu Emergency campaign goes directly to those in need. We have the expertise and infrastructure in place to respond both immediately and for the long term. This is made possible thanks to the community support of our MJF Annual Campaign, which enables us to channel all the Tikvatenu emergency funds directly to Israel.

As a proud member of the Jewish Federations of North America (JFNA), we’re part of a nationwide network. JFNA has established an emergency allocations committee that selects and makes careful and critical examinations of the organizations receiving our funding. Our core emergency partners include The Jewish Agency for Israel, JDC, World ORT, and the Israel Trauma Coalition, and more.
